I'm Cathy— an amputee and coach who believes everyone is more capable than they think they are.

I'm just a girl from Texas...
I always knew I had a big purpose for my life, but
it wasn't until a car crash that I'd discover
what that impact would be.

At 19 years old I moved out to Los Angeles to chase my dream of becoming an actress (thank you Hannah Montana!) I landed an agent but also worked as a background actor on the BEST TV shows, movies, and commercials. Every day I was driving to major Hollywood studios for work. AKA living my best life!
Sadly the phrase “starving actor” was quite literal for me. I was soon living off a dying dream with my hope and bank account draining faster than formula 1. Confused and finding my way, I moved to Las Vegas at 21.

My life was never the same again.

Coming out of my loss, I chose to be the creator of my life instead of the victim. That didn't make things easier, but it gave me something to fight for. It sparked a flame that no one could put out. A few months after my accident, I was ready to do the work and rebuild who I was.

My accident will always be clear as day for me. My friend Sami and I got drinks with some friends and by the end of the night, I was living in my own personal nightmare. I had a few too many and crashed my car into a ditch. I was knocked unconscious and when I woke up my hand was completely shattered. I was rushed to the hospital where I'd stay for the next week, and after numerous surgeries decided to amputate the few disconfigured fingers I had left.
